About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Loan Processor (SAFE) in Transactions and Processing as part of Home Lending Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com In this role, you will: Perform timely and clear communication with customers, settlement agents, brokers, and other counter parties to obtain missing information and documentation for the loan file Submit loan file to underwriting for review. Ensure all compliance and underwriting guidelines are met. Enter loan information into the system. Prioritize and manage assigned pipeline to meet anticipated closing date and performance metrics. Act as an escalation point for lower-level Mortgage Processors to resolve issues and provide guidance and training. Interact with immediate team, functional area and internal peers. Interact with internal and external customers. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Loan Processing, Customer Service, Loan Administration, Collections, or Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.
  • Willingness to work Monday- Friday 7am to 6pm local time.
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
