This role involves providing direct care and support for individuals, responding to their issues during assigned shifts, and promoting their growth in various quality of life areas such as individual control, respect and dignity, relationships, community membership, personal growth, accomplishments, and personal well-being. The position requires assisting individuals with their Individual Support Plans and behavior support plans, and supporting them in areas like problem-solving, personal care, medical care, socialization, leisure activities, interpersonal skills, household management, money management, activities of daily living, and asserting their human and civil rights. The employee is also responsible for knowing emergency procedures, completing necessary documentation, dispensing medications if certified, transporting individuals to appointments, maintaining property, and participating in supervision, staff meetings, and training. Adherence to Triangle's policies and procedures, maintaining a positive attitude, and efficient time management are expected.
