About The Position

The Residential Development Manager is responsible for facilitating training, development and process implementation across the Licensed Residential Department. This role provides critical leadership support in programs, acting as interim Facility Administrator for programs as assigned. This role has influence across the entire residential network and supports increasing the confidence, engagement and skillsets of staff members across the department. This position is seen as a leadership role and is responsible for modeling exceptional collaboration and communication skills and supporting a culture of excellence within the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Team Development Responsible for training new Facility Administrators during the onboarding process and acting as intentional onsite support for Facility Administrators within the initial 90- days of employment.
  • Provides training for House Managers and Residential Support Specialists as needed.
  • Partners with program leaders to strengthen program practices or workplace culture.
  • Audits training documentation for Residential staff and ensures completion of required training in partnership with program leadership.
  • Evaluates programs and teams for training needs and process improvements.
  • Creates content for trainings in collaboration with Residential Leadership and departments as needed.
  • Responsible for ongoing scheduling and recruitment of eMar training team in partnership with Licensed Residential Directors and stepping in to provide the training if needed.
  • Program Support Acts as interim Facility Administrator for programs as assigned.
  • Assists with the development, updates, and reviews of Residential Policies and Procedures.
  • Acts as champion of new processes or requirements for department and supports program in full implementation.
  • Assists programs in hiring efforts during times of staffing challenges.
  • Provides additional support to programs in times of increased resident or staffing needs as assigned.
  • Attends and positively participates in required meetings.
  • Complies with all Oregon Administrative Rules pertaining to the operation of a residential program.
  • Participates in training and development opportunities.
  • Follows all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintains current Oregon or Washington Driver's License.
  • Follows through on all directives and instructions conveyed by the Licensed Residential Director.
  • Maintains the security of all agency interests (i.e.: security of keys, files, facilities, etc.)
  • Must have a criminal records clearance through the State Mental Health Division.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational ability.
