Role Overview As a Residential Construction Superintendent, you'll be responsible for managing on-site activities from start to finish. You'll coordinate trades, monitor progress, and ensure each project meets our expectations for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or a similar field role
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Familiarity with tools such as CoConstruct and Microsoft Office (training available)
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to commute daily to job sites within Sussex County, DE
Nice To Haves
- Experience in residential construction preferred (commercial experience considered)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily job site operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
- Perform regular quality control checks and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Track progress against project timelines and key milestones
- Update schedules, job logs, and material needs using project management tools
- Work closely with Project Managers to address challenges and keep projects moving
- Lead client walkthroughs and ensure a positive homeowner experience
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with building standards
