About The Position

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time Residential Aide to join our team in one of our female Level 3.5 locations! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living. Hours: Full-time We are hiring for all shifts. 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm & 11:00pm - 8:00am (overnight shift) We are hiring multiple people!!!

Requirements

Ability to observe, identify, document & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
Understands the field of addiction, mental health & recovery.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
Open to learning about & understanding ASAM criteria guidelines, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery, etc.

Responsibilities

Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
Ability to deescalate.
Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.
