Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years’ experience in human services, behavioral health, or admissions.
  • Knowledge of addiction, treatment modalities, and behavioral health systems.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills — you know how to build trust and close the loop.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMRs and insurance verification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Bridge: Field calls from families, referral sources, and agencies — helping them navigate the admissions process with empathy and professionalism.
  • Make an Impact: Convert inquiries into admissions by building trust and clearly communicating the benefits of our programs.
  • Ensure Quality: Oversee the admissions process to maintain clinical standards and a seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate: Partner with clinical staff, insurance providers, and school registrars to ensure every detail is handled before a client arrives.
  • Support Families in Crisis: Provide calm, compassionate guidance and connect them to the right level of care within YSS or other resources.
