About The Position

We are currently seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to oversee three 24‑hour ICF‑DD‑H group homes and guide a dedicated team in delivering exceptional, person‑centered support. As the QIDP, you are the anchor of our residential program.You’ll provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight that ensures residents receive the highest quality of care and opportunities for independence. provides leadership and supervision to three (3) Residential House Supervisors, and guides the development and training of up to eighteen (18) residents, which promotes the individual residents’ progress towards independence. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • 6 months of supervisory experience.
  • Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable DMV record.
  • Experience with electronic case management systems (Therap preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor three Residential House Supervisors.
  • Build strong, collaborative teams grounded in communication, accountability, and compassion.
  • Lead training efforts to ensure all staff are confident, skilled, and person‑centered.
  • Oversee surveys, audits, and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor home operations including vehicles, finances, and health‑related supports.
  • Collaborate with nurses, behavior specialists, families, consultants, and the San Diego Regional Center.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and support staff in crisis or urgent situations.
