Job Summary Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Residential Student Development, the Residential Life Coordinator (RLC) is a live-in professional who oversees all the daily operations and leadership of their assigned residential community. The incumbent's responsibility includes but is not limited to the following areas: lead Graduate Residential Life Coordinators (GRLCs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and Student Assistants (SAs), case coordination centering around student behavior, residential curriculum and community development, and administrative components. The RLC participates in departmental initiatives and leads or serves on committees as needed. The incumbent assists in the overall development and implementation of the Residential Life and Student Housing programs including the coordination of the residential life staff, programs, services and facilities of the program. The incumbent is required to live on campus in university-provided accommodations so that emergency response requirements can be met effectively and promptly. Incumbent is encouraged to eat meals with students in university dining facilities. Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.
