About The Position

Join the Transdev team in New Carrollton, MD! We’re hiring a part-time Reservationist/Customer Service Representative to work 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM. In this role, you’ll assist customers by scheduling transportation and providing excellent service. We’re seeking friendly, dependable people who take pride in safety and helping others. CBA Position: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $20.00 - $33.52 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale) Starting pay $20.00 with progression to $33.52 over 7 years. Benefits include: Paid Sick Leave: Part-time employees may be eligible for 40 hours yearly based on hours worked.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
• Resolve service-related complaints.
• Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
• Other duties as required.
