The Microbiome & Bacterial Immunology laboratory at the Department of Animal Science investigates the host–microbiome interface in livestock, with emphasis on bacterial translocation from the gut to low-microbial-load tissues, host immune responses, and interventions to reduce antibiotic dependence. We seek a full-time laboratory technician to support molecular biology, microbiome analytics, bacterial isolation/culture, and immunology workflows. Prior experience in molecular biology or microbiome research is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
