A Brief Overview This entry-level research technical role participates in a planned research projects by performing research protocols, experimental procedures and other laboratory tasks under direct supervision. May occasionally exercise minimal discretion and judgment in execution and interpretation of experiments, and of data derived. This lab investigates rare neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders caused by pathogenic genetic mutations in children. We utilize advanced cellular models, including brain organoids, iPSC-derived neurons, and mouse models, to understand how these mutations disrupt brain development and function. In parallel, we are developing targeted therapeutic strategies, including AAV- and ASO-based approaches, to treat these conditions.
