About The Position

Job Title: Research Staff - Electron Microscope Facility - Chemistry Posting End Date: March 6, 2026 NOTE: Last day to apply is Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:59pm (MST) Position Start Date: March 26, 2026 Required Degree: PhD Biochemistry. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience: Extensive experience doing cryo-EM. Duties/Expectations: Order materials, supplies, and computers Organize the lab Receive and orient new students Teach basic biochemistry lab procedures and advanced sample preparations and image processing techniques in electron cryo-microscopy Be present in the label full-time to answer student questions and provide general support.
