The research laboratory of Dr. Zachary Campbell, Bamforth Distinguished Chair in the Department of Anesthesiology at the School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a Research Specialist passionate about molecular neurobiology in the area of non-opioid analgesic discovery. The Research Specialist will maintain our mouse colony; including managing genotyping and breeding. This position will conduct research experiments that test analgesics in mice using standard behavioral assessments and quantification of protein and RNA abundance in tissues that contain sensory neurons. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to provide essential training and guidance to junior staff, students, and interns, contributing significantly to the advancement of our research program.
