The Research Senior Technician will conduct and assist with research on Yellow Perch in central Lake Erie. Duties will include processing diets of Lake Erie fishes, processing and analyzing Lake Erie zooplankton data, conducting statistical modeling, writing reports and peer-reviewed papers, and organizing historical datasets. Additional responsibilities will include providing assistance and training to less experienced colleagues, and independently anticipating, recognizing, and solving routine issues, in addition to unusual or infrequent issues or questions. The Research Technician will assist with other duties as assigned that may include collaboration and field assistance with partner agencies (e.g., Ohio Division of Wildlife), sampling trips to Lake Erie, data entry, report and manuscript review, and editing completed forms and electronic files.
