Responsibilities The Research Affiliate I will be mentored by and work under the guidance of a Principal Investigator to develop their post-doctoral skill set. The incumbent will develop and validate high-resolution mass spectrometric methods for the analysis of ultra-trace levels of organic chemicals in human and environmental specimens; perform mass spectrometric data analysis; and prepare project reports and manuscripts for publication. The Research Affiliate I will also be responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instruments. This position will be part of a dynamic team serving the Wadsworth Center’s mission in the New York State Department of Health’s efforts to protect and promote the health of New York’s citizens.
