About The Position

As a Reprographics Specialist II at LJA Buisness Solutions, you will perform a wide range of reprographics functions including high-speed copying, digital printing, offset printing, bindery, and related services. This role is responsible for producing a variety of printed materials such as stationery, brochures, newsletters, schematics and drawings, banners, posters, signage, and digital media including CD and DVD reproduction. You will receive original materials in hard copy, digital, electronic, or online formats; perform pre-press and pre-flight work; prepare digital presses and high-speed copiers; proof materials; and complete final finishing work. This position requires working both independently under general supervision and with guidance as needed, performing complex technical duties across multiple core functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certifications related to reprographics equipment, software, or processes (as applicable)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in reprographics, with hands-on use of specialized printing and bindery equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of digital press operations, high-speed copying, and finishing/bindery processes
  • Experience with pre-press workflows, including file setup, formatting, and troubleshooting print issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and service desk or ticketing systems
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot reprographics equipment and related systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate deliverables
  • Effective communication skills and a customer service mindset when working with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn new equipment, tools, or processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with desktop publishing and graphic design software
  • Knowledge of file conversions, font management, and various media formats
  • Familiarity with large-format printing and specialty production (banners, signage, etc.)
  • Experience supporting engineering or technical teams with print production needs
  • Understanding of courier services, shipping processes, and distribution logistics
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting and guiding team members when needed
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing incoming print requests (digital, hard copy, or online) and confirming specifications, deadlines, and materials
  • Performing detailed pre-press/pre-flight checks, including file setup, formatting, and ensuring print readiness
  • Operating digital presses and high-speed copiers for both color and black & white production
  • Producing a wide range of materials such as engineering drawings, brochures, newsletters, banners, posters, and signage
  • Selecting appropriate paper types and media based on project requirements
  • Completing bindery work including cutting, folding, laminating, and assembling final deliverables
  • Proofing materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency prior to final production
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating maintenance when needed
  • Managing multiple jobs simultaneously while prioritizing urgent or high-volume requests
  • Communicating with internal teams to ensure expectations are met and timelines are aligned
  • Supporting shipping, courier coordination, and delivery of completed materials
  • Assisting with administrative tracking, job logging, and service desk requests
