About The Position

Job Summary
Orders, replenishes and merchandises grocery products. Monitors inventory control and replenishes product based upon company ordering standards. Ensures excellent customer service, ordering grocery products, and implementing merchandising initiatives to stimulate the growth of the business while meeting customer requirements and maximizing profits. Must be able to perform duties of grocery associates in the department.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required
• 3+ years’ grocery experience is required
• Knowledge of grocery products
• Strong math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Computer skills
• Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures and maintains appropriate back stock levels
• Submit credits as needed for select vendors according to Grocery Team Leader
• Oversees customer special order procedure
• Controls waste and spoilage/shrink
• Supports grocery team leader in conducting inventories
• Ensures accuracy of in store pricing signs and tagging
• Ensure all invoices are coded properly and submitted to accounting in a timely manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
