About The Position

The company is seeking a Repacker to help reduce inventory shrink and enhance warehouse organization. Repackers in Charlotte begin at $25.58 per hour. The role involves evaluating damaged products for disposition, repacking saleable items, accurately recording information for repackaged and dumped products, and assisting with tracking dated products to minimize loss. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ required
  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Safely operate electric pallet jack.
  • Good communication skills – written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
  • Must be dependable.

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
  • Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)
  • Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
  • Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
  • Properly record all dumped product.
  • Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.
