About The Position

The Chemical Repacker will repackage bulk chemical into smaller pack sizes as specified on work orders. What You Will Do Repack non-hazardous and Hazardous chemicals, utilizing personal protection equipment provided. Follow written instruction on proper gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation, work order instructions and ensure that all data is documented accurately Retrieve product and components for next scheduled assignment Verify documents and components are accurate and identical, and perform scale calibration Accurately weigh chemical and perform repackaging at a rate comparable to established standards and expectations Maintain clean production rooms, and equipment to meet department standards. Document on the work order all packaging and raw materials consumed in the repackaging process Assist with related special projects, as assigned Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent Intermediate level numerical and math skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently in 8 hours a day Ability to wear a half-face and full-face respirator for up to 8 hours. Ability to push material handling equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be detail oriented Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Self-Motivated

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate level numerical and math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently in 8 hours a day
• Ability to wear a half-face and full-face respirator for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to push material handling equipment.

• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Self-Motivated
