About The Position

Repackers are crucial to the US Foods team, embodying integrity and reliability, and building trusting relationships with team members. The role involves assisting with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization. Requirements

High School Diploma/ required
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to work independently.
Safely operate electric pallet jack.
Good communication skills – written and oral.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Must be dependable.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)
Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
