JOB SUMMARY The Rental Sales Representative will be responsible for representing rent-to-rent heavy construction and allied equipment lines. This position will also be sales representative for new and used allied equipment sales in a defined geographic territory. The Rental Sales Rep will consistently increase the customer base and rental revenue of new and used allied equipment sales. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Caterpillar BCP equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work with customers and staff, as well as on an independent basis are both required.
  • Must be familiar with the geographic area that encompasses this territory.
  • Requires a highly motivated and energetic personality.

Nice To Haves

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Three years of experience in the rental or sales of aerial/boom/scissor lifts, backhoe loaders, track-type tractors, generators, skid steer loaders, trench protection equipment, and other common allied equipment is preferred, training will be provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Sales representative for new and used allied equipment sales in a defined geographic territory.
  • Consistently increase the customer base and rental revenue of new and used allied equipment sales.
