We’re hiring a full-time Rental Assistance Manager for our Assisted Housing Division. As a Rental Assistance Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to programs that advance our mission and strengthen housing stability across New Hampshire. In this role, you will: Guide and support program participants by determining eligibility in accordance with HUD regulations and the NH Housing Administrative Plan. Administer critical housing resources, managing and allocating approximately $5 million annually in Housing Assistance Payments (HAP). Administer and oversee multiple rental assistance programs, including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Moderate Rehabilitation, Project-Based Voucher (PBV), Mainstream, Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH), Homeownership, Family Unification Program (FUP), Foster Youth to Independence (FYI), and other special-purpose vouchers, ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality service. To support onboarding and training, the first six months of employment will be conducted in-office. Following this period, remote work may be available on an intermittent basis, as determined by the manager. Your experience, skills, and education should include: Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset with all internal and external contacts. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level. Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed. Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level. Proficiency in speaking an additional language is beneficial. Experience with Yardi Software is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
