About The Position
The Houston office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate to join its Renewable Energy Tax Group.Our lawyers partner with developers, independent power producers, utilities, and infrastructure funds to advance renewable energy projects from conception to completion. Whether navigating regulatory frameworks, structuring transactions, or maximizing the value of critical tax and energy incentives, we deliver practical, business-minded solutions that get deals done and projects constructed. The team guides clients as they seize opportunities in regional energy markets, carbon management and emerging incentive programs. Our streamlined analysis of project platforms provides a systematic approach to conducting diligence on real property, regulatory and project documents.
