Position Summary: This position is in the West Fuels Value Chain – Renewable & Carbon Regulatory Assurance department. The role primarily involves evaluating and applying current and upcoming renewable regulatory programs, assessing their impacts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. The Life Cycle Analyst is responsible for conducting life cycle analyses (LCA) for renewable transportation fuels under current compliance programs, including EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard, California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program, as well as any future programs in which the company may participate. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather and manage extensive data sets, accurately modeling the life cycles of various fuels, facilities, and projects. The Life Cycle Analyst must have a comprehensive understanding of company operations, renewable fuel regulatory programs, and the source data used in LCA models. Additionally, this position requires regular communication with regulatory agencies to provide insights into MPC operations and life cycle modeling, offering expertise and guidance to ensure the use of the most accurate information and methodologies in LCA modeling. The position is located in Findlay, OH. This position is part of a job family with multiple career levels.
