Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Five years of external sales experience with Financial Institutions or eight years in business development.
  • Preferred experience in consulting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in lead generation and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop external business by promoting financial products and solutions in both new and existing markets.
  • Assist in forecasting revenue from new business sales.
  • Research and establish relationships with key financial institution contacts.
  • Document business development activities and maintain sales pipeline.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and share industry insights.
  • Build and lead sales pipeline through structured campaigns.
  • Participate in regional and national sales activities.
  • Create and present formal proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure smooth hand-off to Account Executive post-sale.
  • Achieve year-end revenue targets.
