About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote IT Specialty Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting, optimizing, and advancing clinical applications within a healthcare setting. By collaborating with clinical leadership, healthcare providers, and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure that the IT systems effectively enhance patient care and operational efficiency. You will analyze workflows, develop testing plans, and address application-related issues to meet the diverse needs of the organization, making a tangible impact on healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant Epic Inpatient experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without.
  • Epic Inpatient certification – strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows including nursing, provider documentation, orders, and patient care processes.
  • Experience with Epic Inpatient builds, enhancements, and workflow optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience with system testing, validation, and documentation in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic Inpatient clinical applications, including system builds, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Analyze inpatient clinical and operational workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and improved patient care outcomes.
  • Partner with clinicians, nursing leadership, and operational teams to gather requirements and translate clinical needs into Epic Inpatient solutions.
  • Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional and clinical requirements for optimal system utilization.
  • Develop and execute system test plans for Epic Inpatient upgrades and enhancements; document test results and outcomes.
  • Manage problem, incident, and change management processes related to inpatient clinical systems.
  • Provide daily on-call support for inpatient application-related issues as required.
  • Communicate system issues, enhancements, and workflow changes clearly to clinical and operational stakeholders.
