Your Role: This role centers on leveraging Power BI to transform complex system data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision‑making across the organization. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining both functional and non‑functional requirements, ensuring that system enhancements, upgrades, and new features are supported by accurate, data‑driven analysis. By using Power BI to identify root causes, visualize trends, and map system workflows, this role plays a key part in optimizing performance and clarifying technical needs. Throughout the SDLC, the analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders to interpret requirements, provide meaningful data insights, and support successful delivery of system solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years System documentation experience and/or technical writing.
  • Ability to create non-functional requirements and translate business requirements into non-functional requirements.
  • Experience creating reports/dashboards in PowerBI
  • Solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
  • Ability to trace given transactions through a sophisticated system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns highly sophisticated solutions with business and IT strategies.
  • Ensures clarity and compliance with the organization's architectural standards and documents functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Ensures clarity and inclusion of appropriate details, and strategy, in the same.
  • Maintains documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Works closely with customers, business analysts, developers and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to project stakeholders (customers and IT) and reviews documentation of other analysts for completeness.
  • Involved in the full systems life cycle.
  • Responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, maintaining and supporting highly sophisticated or critically important application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Leading small teams to accomplish assigned projects.
  • Investigates defects to identify underlying causes and recommends effective technical and non‑technical solutions.
  • Develops Power BI Reports and Dashboards
  • Develops Data Integration Solutions, Implements APIs, and partners with Technical Collaborators
  • Experience in Data Quality, Governance, and Documentation
