eScribers is looking for remote digital court reporters. This is a 1099 entry-level contract position. We are a nationwide court reporting and transcription company that offers flexible scheduling, which will accommodate your day-to-day needs. Requirements

• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• High degree of professionalism
• Must be able to type accurately and have basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills
• Have a computer or laptop installed with Microsoft Windows 7 or higher.
• Have a high-speed internet connection.
• Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments.

Responsibilities

• Must have a quiet work location.
• Record remote hearings
• Verify spellings of participants, unusual terms, and places
• Must abide by the court reporter code of ethics.
• Must complete all digital paperwork and upload all audio promptly.
