Job Description : MUST POSSESS A TEXAS COURT REPORTER'S LICENSE The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary. Records the spoken word in the courtroom by the Judge, attorneys, witnesses, spectators, deputies, etc., as they are spoken while signifying who is speaking and adding punctuation and time. Prepares the official transcripts/Reporter's Records as requested or ordered by the Court of Appeals. Maintains a daily log of cases heard along with worksheets for future reference. Files exhibits with the District Clerk's office after preparing an exhibit receipt. Performs related work as required.
