Remote Digital Court Reporter - Entry Level - Contractor position
About The Position
eScribers is looking for remote digital court reporters. This is a 1099 entry-level contract position. We are a nationwide court reporting and transcription company that offers flexible scheduling, which will accommodate your day-to-day needs. Requirements
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be able to type accurately and have basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills
- Have a computer or laptop installed with Microsoft Windows 7 or higher.
- Have a high-speed internet connection.
- Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments.
Responsibilities
- Must have a quiet work location.
- Record remote hearings
- Verify spellings of participants, unusual terms, and places
- Must abide by the court reporter code of ethics.
- Must complete all digital paperwork and upload all audio promptly.
