About The Position

As a Remanufacturing Technician III, you will leverage your advanced skills and experience in diagnostic and repair work to lead and support disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of vending machines and coolers. This role involves using various tools and techniques to ensure equipment is prepared for the next steps in the remanufacturing process, while also mentoring junior technicians and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Remanufacturing Technicians III must be able to perform all tasks conducted by Remanufacturing Technician I and II in the assembly process and may also rotate through all or most of the process rather than being assigned a specific task.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting associates and company assets.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and compliance with safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance as an essential job function.
  • Follow all Company Safety Rules.
  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed safety measures and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals.
  • Operate handheld/PC.
  • Perform detailed diagnostics to identify issues and implement necessary repairs.
  • Review the weekly production schedule, and assist team in achieving department and facility goals.
  • Column mapping of product to match selection button, and setting vend pricing.
  • Test equipment for proper operation and conduct through quality control (QC) checks.
  • Complete visual, mechanical and needs assessment to determine course of action or pre-work.
  • Use diagnostic tools and other tests to analyze and repair cooling, wiring, mechanical and software issues.
