Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, a program of Catholic Charities, is a non-profit law firm providing community education and legal representation to immigrant adults, families, unaccompanied minors, individuals with mental health issues, and in crimmigration cases. The Release Services Case Manager will assist the Representation Program for adults with mental illness. Under the supervision of the Managing Attorney for the Representation Program, this role involves creating post-release plans, implementing linkage and individual rehabilitation services for clients found mentally incompetent by an Immigration Judge. The Case Manager will collaborate with program attorneys to develop placement plans, advocate for services, connect clients to community-based resources, and ensure placement goals are met after release from detention. The role also includes conducting outreach services to promote agency services.
