Position Summary: This job is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for release management and application governance within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) technology portfolio. Job expectations include ensuring timely, efficient delivery of software releases and application risk deliverables while adhering to enterprise polices and standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with application governance ideally within AML
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL for querying and data manipulation
  • Familiarity with Pega Systems technology for workflow and case management
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira Software for project tracking, collaboration, and agile processes
  • Experience using BMC Remedy IT Service Management for incident and change management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • General understanding of technology components (applications, databases, integrations, and infrastructure)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to drive tasks through completion
  • Ability to prioritize, lead work efforts and influence outcome in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in release management and application risk control processes
  • Strong understanding of technology and enterprise change standards
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams

  • Experience with continuity planning and testing processes

  • Experience working with information security and planning vulnerability remediation
  • Experience working with auditors and providing information for regulatory requests

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end release processes for AML technology
  • Oversee application risk controls, security patching and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
  • Responsible for responding to audit/regulatory requests
  • Coordinate with project, development teams and support partners to deliver high-quality software releases
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for the Change process with stakeholders to include Risk, Audit and external Regulators
  • Coordinate with Software owners and support partners to ensure timely action on deliverables
  • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with application governance
  • Establish routines and provide updates to senior leadership
  • Coordinate and communicate application outage events
  • Provide oversight and guidance to other team members
