About The Position

A DAY IN THE LIFE In this role, you will provide client services and operational leadership within the branch and are accountable for growing market share through customer and employee satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will coach, motivate, and provide ongoing training in referrals, bank products, the client experience, and customer excellence to all branch employees. In addition, the Relationship Manager is responsible for staffing, management, coaching and motivating the staff and handles complex service issues, ensures that security, audit and compliance procedures are followed as outlined in bank policy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Primary service provider and reviews client product needs, cross sells appropriate bank products and makes referrals to other lines of business to meet branch goals. Able to facilitate complex banking transactions, and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships. Meets established branch sales goals. Provides leadership through coaching, training, and mentoring of branch staff including ongoing timely performance feedback. Create a positive working environment with a focus on customer service and team development. Participates in community activities to network with clients and potential clients. Enforce or ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing financial institutions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years' experience in banking or related management position, with additional supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven sales and leadership abilities required, and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
