The Relationship Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring smooth client interactions, accurate documentation, and timely follow-up, while developing skills for long-term growth within a relationship management career path.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred, or 1-3 years of relevant administrative or client support experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Professional, client-focused interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with CRM or financial platforms preferred
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team environment
  • Ability to perform basic calculations, including percentages and financial data
  • Willingness to obtain required licenses (Life, Accident & Health; SIE; Series 7; Series 63) within the first year
  • Backgrounds in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related fields are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings alongside advisors, capturing detailed notes and supporting meeting flow
  • Complete post-meeting follow-up, including case notes and coordination with internal teams
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and advisors, assisting with follow-up communication and relationship building
  • Maintain and update client information within the CRM system to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Provide administrative and operational support to advisory and operations teams
  • Assist with account openings, client reporting, and preparation of meeting materials
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team and management meetings
  • Develop skills aligned with advancement into a Client Relationship Manager role
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned
