The ISG client service team is responsible for working with various family offices, high net worth individuals and institutions across the United States, Europe and Latin America. As a key member of the ISG CS team, the Relationship Associate performs a range of activities to assure prompt, accurate and thorough execution of client requests and performance reporting for clients. Additional responsibilities include support for portfolios with alternative investments including facilitating cash movements, updating monthly or quarterly market values, running regular performance reports and various accounting and operations functions needed to support these clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 2+ years financial industry or client service/operations experience preferred
  • Highly organized work style; detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities to meet client demands.
  • Collaborative team-player; self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrates tact, discretion and good judgement in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in leveraging systems and processes to execute activities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with M.S. Office suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Eager to contribute and learn, ask questions and provide solutions
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B , O-1, F-1 (OPT), TN, or any other non-immigrant visa classifications that require employer support or sponsorship).
  • Ability to work on-site in our New York office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with trust administration and/or client account documentation a plus
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign
  • Experience using Solovis and/or Addepar reporting systems

Responsibilities

  • Calculation of investment performance and compiling custom performance reporting
  • Update and manage client alternative asset pricing by coordinating with Portfolio Management and Operations Teams.
  • Actively support client account maintenance activities including opening new accounts, address changes, online enrollment, etc.
  • Handle cash management activities including domestic and international fund transfers, monitoring client cash balances, establishing recurring payments and resolving issues as needed.
  • Facilitate and prepare alternative asset subscription and redemption forms and maintain records of corresponding AML documentation.
  • Correspond with clients to request timely signatures on investment agreements, and subscription and redemption documentation. Electronic filing of executed documents.
  • Perform general administration including writing and editing correspondence, answering phones, contact data maintenance, etc.
  • Complete ad hoc client-related projects as needed.
