About The Position

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, seeks a part-time faculty member to serve as Fellowship Director (20% FTE) to establish and oversee an ACGME-accredited Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Director will provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of fellowship education, accreditation compliance, fellow recruitment, evaluation, and mentorship, in alignment with ACGME requirements and GME policies. Campus/School Information The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is the state’s public health, law, and human services university, dedicated to excellence in education, research, clinical care, and public service. UMB enrolls over 6,700 students in six nationally ranked professional schools—medicine, law, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and social work—and an interdisciplinary Graduate School. The university’s dynamic campus is in the heart of downtown Baltimore, providing access to a diverse and vibrant urban environment with close proximity to government agencies, major health institutions, and research partners. Position Information Position Title: REI Fellowship Director Department/Division/School: Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences/University of Maryland School of Medicine Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Background Checks Employment at UMB is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. A background check does not automatically disqualify a candidate from employment. However, the university reserves the right to rescind an offer or terminate employment if the findings are deemed incompatible with the position. Employment eligibility must be verified within three days of the start date. Failure to provide appropriate documentation may result in offer rescission or employment termination.

Requirements

  • MD or DO; board certified in REI
  • Eligible for Maryland licensure
  • Must qualify for a faculty appointment at UMSOM
  • Must have at least 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
