An Rehabilitation Therapy Manager who excels in this role: Leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies. In addition to: Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness. Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention. Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards. Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Current state licensure in Therapy (OT,PT,SLP)
  • Current state licensure/certification as OT, PT, or SLP
  • At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
  • Current license to practice therapy - active
  • CPR certification required, BCLS certification

Responsibilities
