About The Position

Wellstar is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to join their team. This non-professional role works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Therapist. The position involves assisting therapists with age-appropriate patient treatment, providing administrative support to therapists as needed, and performing general departmental duties within Rehabilitation Services. The successful candidate will adhere to system and department policies and procedures, and incorporate philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork into their daily routine. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent experience Required
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification (required upon hire)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple job tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Patient related experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Therapists with age appropriate patient treatment
  • Occasional, maybe required to provide a 'second-set-of-hands to assist treatment
