About The Position

As part of an interdisciplinary team providing rehabilitation services, this position provides supervision, assistance, instruction, and motivation for individuals participating in group and individual exercise programs The University of Vermont Medical Center is committed to being a national model for the delivery of high-quality academic health care for a rural region. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in EXMS, ATC, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Sports Management or related program preferred.
  • Minimal of high school diploma or equivalent and education in the file of anatomy, physiology and exercise prescription.
  • Current certification as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor or exercise physiologist or will obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
  • BLS/CPR certification for professional rescuer
  • Minimum of 200 hours or one year of experience assisting people with exercise activities in a professional setting.
