About The Position
As part of an interdisciplinary team providing rehabilitation services, this position provides supervision, assistance, instruction, and motivation for individuals participating in group and individual exercise programs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in EXMS, ATC, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Sports Management or related program preferred.
- Minimal of high school diploma or equivalent and education in the file of anatomy, physiology and exercise prescription.
- Current certification as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor or exercise physiologist or will obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
- BLS/CPR certification for professional rescuer
- Minimum of 200 hours or one year of experience assisting people with exercise activities in a professional setting.
