Solect is currently seeking a full time Regulatory Specialist to process utility interconnection applications, submit building and electrical permit applications, and administer solar incentive paperwork. In addition, this role would assist with other utility close out processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Professional and personable demeanor and willingness to interact frequently with clients and regulatory officials
  • Be able to effectively communicate in written and oral correspondence

Nice To Haves

  • One year or more of Solar C&I experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare interconnection prescreens and applications through utility portals
  • Process and submit building and electrical permit applications and interact with local permitting jurisdictions to receive permits quickly
  • Complete and file paperwork for solar PV incentives and work to submit final incentive claims
  • Assist with completion of utility close out documents such as meter swap and witness testing
  • Stay abreast of changes and new developments in solar PV incentives and specific program deadlines
  • Perform other responsibilities within the department as necessary
