About The Position

Departmental Office Administrator provides support to the immediate and extended Waldrip Student Center Team. Administrative liaison for the academic functions of the Waldrip Student Center. Office manager with oversight of office functions. The position reports to the Director of Student Records. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least three years of university-related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of academic regulations, policies, and university functions
  • Accuracy in detailed reporting and management of student records
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service in-person, on the telephone and through electronic communication
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet conflicting deadlines in an organized manner
  • Ability to quickly analyze information from a variety of sources and apply to university requirements and policies
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly analyze information from a variety of sources and apply to university procedures and regulations, state requirements for curriculum, and student enrollment
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work discreetly with confidential records and information

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least five years of university-related administrative support experience
  • Experience using Workday, Course Inventory Management (CIM), Curriculum Program Management, and 25Live
