About The Position

Employee is responsible to maintain all students’ permanent record files, including upgrading, correction, and deletions. Position is responsible for the recording, posting, and dissemination of grades. Position is responsible for the review and certification of degree and certificate requirements of graduating students. Coordinate official registration under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Services. Responsible for organizing an implementation of official registration on a semester basis, under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. Location: Valparaiso Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000/year Major Responsibilities: Review and certify degree and certificate requirements on applications for graduation to be submitted to the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Services for final approval. Handle all internal/external communications between secondary/post secondary institutions regarding request for transcripts or related information about students’ records. Permanent member of the College Graduation Committee. Responsible for handling request for transfer of credits into the College, under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and/or Student Success. Development of professional competency by participation and membership in state and regional student service oriented organizations. Maintain all student permanent records files, including upgrading, correction, and deletions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, public administration, or data management information systems.
  • Five years of relevant experience in registrations and/or records.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Must have substantial experience in automated student record-keeping systems such as Banner.
