VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital in the beautiful, upscale area of Westlake Village, CA, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our wonderful team! Location: 31166 Via Colinas, Westlake Village, CA 91362 Compensation: $26.50 - $30.50/hour (RVT Licensure is required & proof must be provided). Schedule: This is a full-time position. Shifts are daytime hours, and you would be scheduled 4x10 hour shifts. Requirements
- RVT Licensure is required & proof must be provided
Responsibilities
- Work closely with DVM's to provide outstanding client and patient care
- Assist in surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
- Perform dental cleanings, dental radiographs, dental extractions
- Administer medications and treatments
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Sample collection for laboratory testing
- Drug calculations
- Client education
- Facility cleaning, equipment maintenance as needed
- Record keeping
- Filling medications
- Additional duties not listed above may be assigned as needed.
