About The Position

HEARTLINE STAFFING, Strategic Talent Partners with PURPLE COW RECRUITING, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Ocala, Florida. Applications are securely processed through Purple Cow Recruiting’s system.

Under general supervision, the Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care services to patients of all ages. This role includes administering routine and complex respiratory therapies, managing acute care ventilators, and supporting patients requiring short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.

The RRT is expected to function independently when needed, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with departmental and hospital standards while delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
• CRT experience does NOT qualify
• Florida licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible for state licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently when required

Responsibilities

• Perform all respiratory care related duties under general supervision
• Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures
• Operate acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
• Provide respiratory care to patients across all age groups
• Function independently in the absence of a full-time team leader
• Maintain accurate departmental and hospital documentation
• Enter complete and accurate therapy data into the hospital computer system
