About The Position
Centurion Health is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction, contracting with state and local governments nationwide to provide healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings. The company is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join their team at Rockville Correctional Facility in Rockville, Indiana. The role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor
