About The Position

Operating Room RN position working 8- or 10-hour day/evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating call requirements. Assignment length is 16–32 weeks with an ASAP start. RN will work in a 5-suite OR providing surgical care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Primary service lines include orthopedics (total joints and sports medicine), minor orthopedic trauma, cataracts, general surgery, podiatry, urology, gynecology, and pacemaker insertions. Must be flexible with scheduling, including call twice per week and rotating weekend call.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong experience in orthopedics and general surgery required
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory and nonnegotiable.
• Complete work history and explanation of employment gaps over 90 days required.
• Must be willing to circulate C-sections (training provided).

Nice To Haves

• Eye and GYN experience preferred.
• Scrubbing skills highly preferred; strong circulators may be considered.
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit access.
