Registered Nurses (RNs) Addiction Treatment Services Per Diem (Tewksbury, Lynn, Gloucester and Danvers)

We are seeking per diem RNs for our Addiction Treatment Services Programs in Tewksbury and Danvers. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include nursing support, individual case management, group treatment sessions, aftercare planning, and more. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who seeks to make a critical impact in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
Requirements
- Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current certification in CPR
- willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings and nights on an as-needed basis
- Requirement of 2 shifts per month
Nice To Haves
- Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not
Responsibilities
- Records and reports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changes in patients' safety status
- Collaborates with team in providing health information and maintains clients’ medical records
- Responds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environment
- Assists with the admitting, discharge and transfer process
- Participates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plans
- Administers medications to patients and educates Recovery Specialists on proper medication dispensing guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
