Job Description: We are seeking per diem Recovery Specialists for multiple locations including Danvers, Tewksbury, Lynn and Lowell . Clients are provided with the tools they need to begin developing skills of daily living including goal setting, problem solving, and self-advocacy. Services include nursing support, individual case management, group treatment sessions, aftercare planning, and more. The Recovery Specia list position is a grea t opportunity for some one who s eeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
- Per Diem willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings and nights on an as-needed basis.
- Requirement of 2 shifts per month.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- Observes and supervises clients and units ; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks.
- Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
- Search client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
